ABOUT SIGMA ALDRICH
Many people
may not know Sigma Aldrich, but most have people have felt its effects in
one way or another. Perhaps it was from the great economic
advancements it has brought to the St. Louis Area since 1935, but more than
likely, you or someone you know has been helped by one of the many
advancements the Sigma Aldrich Corporation has made in the field of life
sciences. Specializing in biological life science studies which have
promoted and protected the safety of countless lives, the Sigma Aldrich has
been a key asset to St. Louis for decades. In 2002 they expanded their
company, opening the doors to their newly constructed, 145,000 sq. ft. Life
Sciences and High Technology Center.
The Sigma Aldrich Life Sciences Building is one of global importance; Mayor
Francis Slay praised the opening of the center in his 2002 speech, saying "This is a great day for our entire city."
WHAT STAAT PROVIDED
Fortunately, James G. Staat Tuckpointing Inc. took part in the construction
of this highly technical building, providing joint sealants in control
joints, doorframes, windows, concrete flatwork, drywall, stone coping, and curtainwalls. Through careful work by all of our sealant installers and
our close relationship with our material providers, we were able to secure
the Sigma Aldrich Corporation with a 20 year manufacturer's sealant
warranty, allowing them to breath a little easier. Because, as one
of the worlds leading biological science facilities, they have
better things to worry about than a leaky building.
