The Morris Center has been the centerpiece of the SIU Edwardsville campus since
its inauguration in 1964. However, in recent years, in order to
accommodate the quickly expanding campus, dramatic transformations have
been made to the SIUE. One of which is the transformation of the Morris
Center. As a part of this transformation, James G. Staat Tuckpointing Inc.
renovated the joint sealants on the building, including the massive tilt-up
aggregate panels, aggregate perimeter railings, and other building control
joints. We were also able to provide the University with a 20 year
warranty for all the joint sealants provided. Not only that, but James G. Staat
Tuckpointing Inc. also provided patching to a number of damaged aggregate
panels.
