attends 3rd Annual BOMA Trade Show
BOMA, the Building Owners and Managers
Association, recently held its 3rd annual trade show, featuring industry
professionals. As an associate member, Staat Tuckpointing
participated in the event. Staat offered helpful advice to members
of BOMA regarding all aspects of masonry care. See you again next year!

Masonry
restoration and joint sealant complete at Schurz/Bingham Hall on
University of Missouri-Columbia Campus

G. Staat Tuckpointing just completed historical masonry restoration and
joint sealant work at the University of Missouri-Columbia Campus.
The project amounted involved over three-quarters of a million dollars
of restoration, including large scale restoration cleaning,
tuckpointing, new masonry construction, limestone patching, joint
sealants and waterproofing. Staat preserved the buildings historical
character by providing precision color and mortar matching. In
addition, extra care went into the joint sealant work. By
installing a sand mixture over the curing sealant, Staat was able to
create a masonry look for the sealants and provide a seamless finish to
the building's exterior.

Joint Sealant work underway on SSM Healthcare's St. Clare Health Center 
Staat Tuckpointing is working with Alberici
Constructors to provide exterior joint sealants for SSM Healthcare's new
St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, MO. In addition exterior
masonry joints, Staat Tuckpointing will provide sealants for the
buildings numerous windows. The project will be a $236 million
renovation, which will replace Kirkwood's St. Joseph Hospital.

Staat Tuckpointing recieves interior and exterior joint sealant contract
for Jewish Community Center, Carolyn Wohl Building
Staat Tuckpointing is working with SM Wilson on the new
JCC Carolyn Wohl Building. The project includes
partial demolition of the existing building and construction of a new
90,000 SF fitness/wellness complex, which will be connected to the
existing Carolyn Wohl building. Staat Tuckpointing will be
providing well over $100,000 worth of exterior and interior joint
sealants (including control joints, sidewalks, firecaulk, windows,
door frames, metal panels, and much more).

Joint sealants and masonry construction underway at Delmar Gardens West
Staat
Tuckpointing is working with CB&E Construction on the new Delmar Gardens
West. Work includes joint sealants on EIFS, stone and brick
columns, window perimeters, and paving joints. In addition, Staat
provided interior block CMU grouting, exterior brick rebuilding,
tuckpointing, and powerwashing.

Staat Tuckpointing awarded contract for masonry joint sealants for new
Washington University Bio-Medical Research Building
When
completed, the $235 million Bio-Medical research building will be the
largest building ever constructed at Washington University. The
new building will house the university's state-of-the-art BioMed 21 as
well as other medical school programs. Staat tuckpointing will
provide joint sealants for on a number of areas of the building,
including exterior masonry control joints. |
Joint sealant work underway at
Pfizer New Research Building
Staat
Tuckpointing is providing new joint sealant for Pfizer's New Research
Building. At a cost of over $200 million, this 330,000 SF facility
will be an addition to Pfizer's Chesterfield facility.

Successful completion of Lower Meramec WWTP project
The extensive Lower Meramec Wastewater Treatment Plant is one of many projects that MSD has initiated recently in its pursuit to bring clean water innovation to the St. Louis Metro area. Working under contract with Mosley Construction, James G. Staat Tuckpointing is proud to be providing the
joint sealants for this project. The majority of the Joint Sealant work will be consumed my the miles of concrete expansion and concrete control joints throughout the facility. At just over 200 acres, the facility, which is mostly located underground, is an impressive sight
